Our Business

Ocean Geo-Frontier Co., Ltd. is a marine geophysical services company established by Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK Line), PGS, Hitachi, Ltd. Starting its operation in 2019, we operate the 3D Seismic Survey Vessel “TANSA” owned by Japan Organization for Metals and Energy Security (JOGMEC) to acquire and deliver highest quality subsurface data.

Together with members expertise and shareholders specialty, OGF will not only operate “TANSA” as a 3D Seismic Survey Vessel with high end technology and competitiveness in the international market, but also will meet the needs from various energy transition initiatives, such as screening and characterization of CO2 storage sites.
